Warehouse/Driver - Green Bay, WI
Scope of Position
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, loads and unloads trucks and drive’s TSI vehicles, (position required a valid commercial driving license). Performs other warehouse related activities in a safe, efficient, effective, accurate and timely manner in order to meet the customer’s needs.
Essential Functions
- To Be… Punctual, cooperative, dependable and able to take direction.
- Ability to safely drive TSI semi-truck, straight truck or van to local or out of town customers to make deliveries.
- Unload trucks manually and by pallet jack when arriving to customers and TSI warehouse.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external people.
- Maintain good housekeeping in cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicles, trailers and warehouse.
- Occasionally stock shelves, select orders and load trucks manually and by forklift.
- Promotes and maintains a flexible cooperative, positive, team oriented attitude with and between departments and end users.
- Ensures timely, accurate, proper records, files, data bases, etc. are developed and maintained for assigned areas of responsibility.
- Open and willing to perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements / Skills
- Class A CDL
- Must be a self-starter and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to operate a variety of material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of warehousing or dock procedures a plus.
- Work as a team member in a safe manner.
Equipment / Tools Operated
Proficient skill in operation of standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, scanners, and PC as well as related software. Ability to drive a straight truck/semi with a standard transmission.
